Las oraciones condicionales tienen dos cláusulas:
Cláusula dependiente: If you drive slowly, (Si conduces despacio,)
Cláusula principal: you will not have any accidents. (no tendrás ningún accidente)
En este caso se trata de Future Possible (futuro posible), es por eso que la cláusula se escribe en presente y la cláusula principal se escribe en futuro.
Ejemplos:
- If you drive slowly, you will not have any accidents. (Si conduces despacio, no tendrás ningún accidente)
- If you study hard, you will pass your finals. (Si estudias duro, pasarás tus finales)
- If I see her, I will give her your message. (Si la veo, le daré tu mensaje)
- If he save his money, he will buy a new car. (Si él ahorra su dinero, comprará un nuevo automóvil)
- If you study English, you will find a job. (Si estudias inglés, encontrarás un trabajo)
- If we have enough money, we will travel to Europe next summer. (Si tenemos suficiente dinero, viajaremos a Europa el siguiente verano)
- If you go to bed earlier, you will not feel so tired. (Si vas a la cama más temprano, no te sentirás tan casado)
- If he attend class regularly, he will make a good progress. (Si el asiste a clases regularmente, hara un buen progreso)
- If you finish your homework on time, you will go to the party. (Si terminas tu tarea a tiempo, irás a la fiesta)
- If we don’t hurry, we will be late. (Si no nos apuramos, llegaremos tarde)
- If it is sunny tomorrow, we will go to the beach. (Si está soleado mañana, iremos a la playa)
- If I have time, I will go to the movies with you. (Si tengo tiempo, iré al cine contigo)
- If you work harder, you will get a better salary. (Si trabajas más duro, tendrás un mejor salario)
