Los adverbios de tiempo sirven para brindar información sobre el momento en el que sucede algo. Los adverbios de tiempo se escriben al principio o final de la oración:
- I saw her on Monday. (La vi el lunes)
- Two weeks ago, she began to work with my cousin. (Hace dos semanas, ella comenzó a trabajar con mi primo)
Ejemplos:
- I saw her in the cafeteria yesterday. (La vi en la cafetería ayer)
- She will come afterwards. (Ella vendrá después)
- She spoke with her about the problem on Friday. (Ella habló con ella sobre el problema el viernes)
- The bill must be paid today. (La factura debe ser pagada hoy)
- You have to come tomorrow. (Tú tienes que venir mañana)
- He is moving to London next week. (Él se mudará a Londres la siguiente semana)
- She will answer me next weekend. (Ella me responderá el siguiente fin de semana)
- She will go for a walk in the park on Saturday. (Ella dará un paseo en el parque el sábado)
- I receibed your letter last week. (Recibí tu carta la semana pasada)
- We are planning to visit them tonight. (Nosotros planeamos visitarlos esta noche)
- My father visited me last week. (Mi padre me visitó la semana pasada)
- She is going to study Biology next semester. (Ella estudiará biología el siguiente semestre)
- He met her yesterday. (Él la conoció ayer)
