Para preguntar ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños? escribimos:
- When is your birthday? (¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?)
Y respondemos:
- April 11th. (El once de abril)
- November 25th. (El 25 de noviembre)
- My birthday is on June 7th (Mi cumpleaños es el 7 de junio)
Para preguntar cuándo es el cumpleaños de una tercera persona escribimos:
- When is his birthday? (¿Cuándo es su cumpleaños?)
- When is her birthday? (¿Cuándo es su cumpleaños?)
- When is their birthday? (¿Cuándo es su cumpleaños?)
Y respondemos:
- January 5th. (El 5 de enero)
- Her birthday is on March 20th. (Su cumpleaños es el 20 de marzo)
- October 17th. (El 17 de octubre)
Claro que hay que recordar los números cardinales:
- 1st = First (primero)
- 2nd = Second (segundo)
- 3rd = Third (tercero)
- 4th = Fourth (cuarto)
- 5th = Fifth (quinto)
- 6th = Sixth (sexto)
- 7th = Seventh (séptimo)
- 8th = Eighth (octavo)
- 9th = Ninth (noveno)
- 10th = Tenth (décimo)
- 11th = Eleventh (undécimo)
- 12th = Twelfth (duodécimo)
- 13th = Thirteenth (decimotercero)
