Los adverbios (adverbs) modifican verbos, indican cómo se hace algo. Cualquier acción puede realizarse lentamente (slowly) o rápidamente (quickly).
Ejemplos:
- He does his homework carefully. (Él hace su tarea cuidadosamente)
- I need your help. Please, come quickly. (Necesito tu ayuda. Por favor, ven rápido)
- You must drive slowly along this road. (Tú debes manejar lentamente en este camino)
- She learns rapidly. (Ella aprende rápidamente)
- I can do it easily. (Yo puedo hacerlo fácilmente)
- The boy is walking happily. (El niño camina felizmente)
- She is waiting you quietly. (Ella está esperándote tranquilamente)
- I remembered it suddenly. (Yo lo recordé repentinamente)
- She speaks softly to her son. (Ella habla suavemente a su hijo)
- We did the tests succesfully. (Nosotros hicimos las pruebas exitosamente)
- They did it intentionally. (Ellos lo hicieron intencionalmente)
- I accidentally broke the window. (Accidentalmente rompí la ventana)
- He admitted that it was partially his fault. (Él admitió que fue parcialmente su error)
- My opinion differs entirely from yours. (Mi opinión difiere enteramente de la tuya)
- The audience consisted mainly of women. (El público consistió principalmente de mujeres)
- This is totally wrong. (Esto es totalmente equivocado)
- I feel extremely happy. (Me siento extremadamente feliz)
- Eventually, he became a lawyer. (Eventualmente, él se convirtió en abogado)
- The meeting is held anually. (La reunión se celebra anualmente)
- He is permanently imprinted on her memory. (Él está permanentemente grabado en su memoria)
