As…as se utiliza para realizar comparaciones de igualdad entre dos personas o cosas. Se utiliza indistintamente con adjetivos y adverbios.

- They visit us as often as they can. (Ellos nos visitan tan a menudo como pueden)
- You sing as beautifully as you play the violin. (Tú cantas tan maravillosamente como tocas el violín)
- You don’t attend class as regularly as you should. (Tú no asistes a clase tan regularmente como debieras)
- My house is as large as yours. (Mi casa es tan grande como la tuya)
- He will come as soon as possible. (Él vendrá tan pronto como sea posible)
- He works as rapidly as you. (Él trabaja tan rápido como tú)
- She is as tall as you. (Ella es tan alta como tú)
- They don’t speak German as well as their cousin. (Ellos no hablan alemán tan bien como su primo)
- I came as quickly as I could. (Yo vine tan pronto como pude)
- His pronunciation is not as good as mine. (Su pronunciación no es tan buena como la mía)
- She is as intelligent as her brother. (Ella es tan inteligente como su hermano)
- We get up as early as our parents. (Nosotros nos levantamos tan temprano como nuestros padres)
- It is as cold today as it was yesterday. (Hace tanto frío hoy como ayer)
- You don’t study as hard as the others students. (Tú no estudias tan duro como los otros estudiantes)
- I am as young as you are. (Yo soy tan joven como tú)
- We can run as fast as you. (Nosotros podemos correr tan rápido como tú)
- I don’t arrive as early as I expected. (Yo no pude llegar tan temprano como esperaba)
